Golden Globes Fashion Review: Best Dressed
Because this site is about more than just hot female celebrities in their bikinis, we present the best dressed celebrities at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Until we're able to hire a female writer for this site you're stuck with me for this sort of thing, but while I don't know a great deal about labels or designers, I do know what looks good and what looks ridiculous. I'm also going to exclude the men since most of us can basically put on a suit and look sharp enough; besides, I'm not going to spend a great deal of time staring at a bunch of dudes and how they combed their hair, got it? Anyway, on to the list...

1. Eva Longoria - The Desperate Housewives actress may not have been nominated, but she steal received plenty of attention showing up in a strapless red gown. She may not have a lot to work with in the breast department, but she works wonders with what she's got. A perfect example of how to be really sexy without crossing the line into trashy.

2. Blake Lively - The Gossip Girl starlet has fantastic skin and took full advantage with a low-cut strapless dress. It may have fit a little too tight in some places, but only at times depending on how she was positioned. She kept her look pretty simple otherwise, which was appropriate for the Globes.

3. Miley Cyrus - The 16-year-old looked cute and very relaxed in an age-appropriate dress that was a little bit sexy, but not showing too much skin despite the absence of shoulder straps. Knowing whatever you wear is going to be plastered in magazines and on TV shows across the country is a lot of pressure for a teenage girl.

Miley Cyrus Defends Vanity Fair Photos
Miley Cyrus is now defending the same Vanity Fair photo shoot she apologized for last April, saying that Americans are just too conservative and need to get over it. Scotland's Daily Record reports:
"Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more because that's more like the style, but the States are really conservative."

"[I] guess I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer."

"That's what I want to do with my life," the pop star continued, referencing Leibovitz's chosen profession. "I would love to be a photographer. She was amazing and so talented and her lighting... I would love to work with her again. But I realize I'm just a kid."

While I normally like to mock celebrities and the stupid things that come out of their mouths, in this case I'm not going to because Cyrus is completely correct. In fact, I respect her a lot more for essentially taking back her apology because she had nothing to apologize for in the first place. Last time I checked, Miley was only a few months younger than Britney Spears was when she filmed her Baby One More Time music video in a sexy school girl outfit, so I never quite understood what the big deal was.

Besides, do we really want to teach young girls that as they get older it's a a bad thing to take off their clothes? I think not. That's just downright un-American.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Miley just being a kid while she still can, out for a bike ride in Toluca Lake last week.

Miley Cyrus and Dad Have the Big Sex Talk
Billy Ray Cyrus sat his daughter Miley down recently and had the big sex talk that most fathers have with their teenage daughters. The Sun reports:
A close family friend says Billy Ray told him: “We brought Miley up with good morals and strong religion, but she’s at that age where she is bound to be experimenting and her hormones are going nuts.

“Miley’s career is just rolling along now and getting bigger and bigger. Everyone loves her and she has a shot to have a career like Julia Roberts or Jennifer Aniston or someone like that.

“I told her in no uncertain terms that her career would be over if something stupid were to happen and she would no longer be a role model for young girls, something she takes very seriously.

“I think I made an impression on her; at least I hope so."

Perhaps Billy Ray should have considered having this sweet little talk a year or two earlier. Sorry pops, but I'm fairly sure that ship has already sailed. When your daughter is practically giving air fellatio to her 20-year-old boyfriend in a public setting, I think that's really all you need to know.

I bet Billy Ray was one of the people who actually believed all those years Britney Spears remained a sweet little virgin. It just doesn't happen when kids get into showbiz at a young age; they grow up at an accelerated pace. So at the same time a normal girl loses her virginity, a showbiz girl is already used to getting trashed at clubs and sniffing lines off the DJ's penis.

Good luck, Billy Ray, you're going to need it.
