Gisele Bundchen appears on the cover of the May 2009 issue of Vanity Fair magazine, and now that her and Tom Brady have officially tied the knot, she's finally speaking out about the awkward situation involving Tom's ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, discovering she was pregnant shortly after they started dating.
“It was definitely a surprise for both of us,” Gisele acknowledges with a rueful smile. “In the beginning you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking, This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops—wake-up call!” She rolls her eyes. “We were dating two and a half months when he found out, and it was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it’s not the ideal thing.”
Moynahan’s pregnancy made Gisele wonder whether she should encourage Brady to re-unite with his former girlfriend. “You question at times—‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out,’” she admits. “But when people break up, it’s for a reason.”

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen have finally tied the knot after weeks of their rumored engagement and subsequent denials. Us Magazine reports:
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady wed Thursday just before 6 p.m. at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., Usmagazine.com confirms.
The ceremony -- which began at dusk -- was "very small and intimate," a source tells Us, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady's 1 ½ son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.
Thank God this finally happened so we don't have to hear about any more engagement rumors. It's fairly surprising to hear Tom's ex and baby mama Bridget Moynahan was present, as she seemed fairly bitter about their whole breakup coinciding with her pregnancy. Not that anyone asked, but for the record I think Bridget is way hotter than Gisele.

The Sports Illustrated 2009 swimsuit issue will be revealed tonight on the Late Show with David Letterman. Because they always seem to feature the model who seems to be on the verge of breaking out on the cover (Marisa Miller last year being a perfect example), there are two logical choices for this year's cover: Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker.
Both Bar and Brooklyn have appeared in the swimsuit issue for the past few years and both have received mainstream attention recently due to their relationships with Leonardo DiCaprio and tennis star Andy Roddick, respectively. Word is Leo is really pulling hard for Rafaeli to land on the cover because it would "really piss off" his ex-girlfriend Gisele Bundchen.
It's pretty much win-win regardless of who ends up on the cover because they're both ridiculously hot, but who do you think Sports Illustrated should choose? I've supplied some photos for closer examination so you can make an informed decision. It's because I care.
Israel's Bar Refaeli...
America's Brooklyn Decker...

So first there were reports that Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen were engaged over the holidays, which were refuted, followed by a later story in which People magazine assured everyone that now the couple really was engaged. Now Gisele has informed a Brazilian publication that those rumors are also false and they are not in fact engaged. Via The Boston Herald:
“I will realize the dream of marriage, to have children and a family, of course. I’m sorry (to) disappoint you, there is no date set yet,” the supermdel told the Brazilian magazine Caras. “I’m in love and you will see my wedding on the right day.”
The Brazilian bombshell, who did the interview in her native Portuguese, said she had no idea how two separate engagement rumors ran rampant around the globe in the past few weeks.
“I don’t know how people are so creative,” said Gi, who was back home in Brazil for Sao Paulo Fashion Week. “First they said he proposed to me in a plane. Imagine, it was Dec. 24, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date.
“Ready? Someone deduced I was getting engaged! I received more than 100 e-mails from friends commenting about the proposal. Now there’s a new rumor, that he proposed to me on last Friday. I wasn’t even there, how can that be true?”
This whole are they or aren't they back-and-forth business is becoming about as irritating as contemplating whether or not Brett Favre is going to retire. I wish they would just get engaged officially so we never have to hear about this story again.

A few weeks ago we reported that New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady and model Gisele Bundchen had gotten engaged on a private jet over the holidays, which was quickly dismissed by their representatives as a false rumor. Well, it turns out that now they really are engaged, at least according to a reputable source who talked with People Magazine:
"He asked and she accepted," a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. Family and friends were informed over the weekend. An official announcement, as well as preliminary wedding details, are being planned by Bündchen and her closest friends this week.
"The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home," the source adds.
Gee, it sounds like the source is really closely connected with the two; so you say they're either going to have a huge event wedding or a small private wedding somewhere remote? Way to nail down the details there - with that kind of specific information this story simply must be true. Did they also mention she plans to wear a dress and he'll be wearing a suit? Amazing. What a scoop.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, the all-grown-up version of the quarterback and the prom queen, are finally engaged according to a report from TMZ:
Tom Brady proposed to Gisele on a private jet on XMAS eve -- and she said yes.
Our sources say Brady, who is famous for his QB skills and running errands for Gisele, proposed on a private jet that took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and landed in Boston. There were four dozen white roses on board, as well as champagne.
Along with Brady and Gisele were her parents. We're told Brady was nervous before he popped the Q.
Normally you have to look at reports like this with a degree of suspicion; however, because the article didn't say Brady got down on one knee, it's probably true. That would've been an easy way to call bullshit. Remember fellas, there's no better time to propose than with an injured leg, as such formalities can't be expected of you.
UPDATE: Okay, so this isn't true and reps for both have issued denials.

While continuing to promote his film Body of Lies, Leonardo DiCaprio said during an interview that when he was younger he was a "slow starter" with women:
The 'Titanic' star - who has dated a string of beautiful women, including supermodels Helena Christensen, Gisele Budchen and Bar Refaeli - claims he was never very successful with girls when he was young as he found it hard to relate to them.
He said: "I've always been a slow starter. My first date was with a girl called Cessi.
We had a beautiful relationship over the phone all summer and then when we met I couldn't look her in the eye."
I like Leo, I really do, but he should do all of us a huge favor and just shut his pie-hole when it comes to troubles with women. Yeah, I'm sure as a good-looking famous young actor he could totally relate to the frustrations of some Star Trek geek. It's comforting to know he was able to overcome such adversity by plowing through a line of supermodels including Helena Christensen, Gisele Budchen and more recently Bar Refaeli.
Mentioning Bar Refaeli, and merely to emphasize my point, here she is looking about as good in a bikini as humanly possible. That's right, poor Leo has sure got it rough.
