What is it, the death of love day on Celebrity Milkshake? Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and super-hot model Bar Refaeli have broken up.

"They're taking time off for the time being, they've split," said a source. "It could just end up as a break but for now they're doing their own thing." (People Magazine)

Apparently, this announcement is no surprise. The breasts-and-thighs combo walked the red carpet alone at the Hollywood Life's 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards, and would not answer questions about Leo. Also, the actor had been chatting up girls recently in NY bars. Apparently, they ended because Bar was pushing Leo into a commitment, and, like the lone wolf he is, Leo told her to go to hell.

"She wanted to move faster than he did, she wanted to move in together," the source says, "so he broke it off."

I'm with you Leo. Who wants Bar Refaeli around them all the time. It'd be too much. She'd be there cooking for you when you came home, getting naked at night before crawling into bed, lying next to you in the morning when...you... Ok, someone needs to punch Leonardo DiCaprio in the face. I'll wait, let me know when you've done it.

Lindsay Lohan is apparently finished with her fake lesbian trial period and has set her sights on a big male fish. Supposedly she was spotted flirting with Leonardo DiCaprio at the Hollywood club My House last Wednesday night.

A source said: “As soon as Lindsay saw Leo she was like a bee to honey.

“She was going for the big catch and when she spotted him in a dark corner of the club she headed straight for him.

“She quickly monopolised his conversation and made sure she had him all to herself.

“Lindsay is a sharp tac. She wasn’t wasting her time chatting up small fish. She seemed interested in the gents with deeper pockets, probably because her career is on a downward trajectory.

“The pair were cosied up together deep in conversation. She definitely tickled his fancy.”

As the night went on and the drinks flowed, things between her and Leo hotted up and she took to the dancefloor to show off her talents.

Sorry, I don't buy this story for a second. The insider source was probably Dina Lohan. I believe that maybe both Leo and Lindsay were at the same club, but why would a guy who tears through supermodels like a plate of fresh sushi waste his time on a strung-out 22-year-old who looks like a forty-something alcoholic? Have you seen Bar Refaeli? Yeah, I'm calling BS.

Well folks, it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio got what he wanted: his ridiculously sexy Israeli girlfriend Bar Refaeli landed the coveted cover spot for the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Rumor has it she was originally chosen to grace the cover of the 2008 issue but then opened her mouth about it so they gave her the boot, so I suppose you could say she was due. The Sports Illustrated 2009 swimsuit issue will be revealed tonight on the Late Show with David Letterman. Because they always seem to feature the model who seems to be on the verge of breaking out on the cover (Marisa Miller last year being a perfect example), there are two logical choices for this year's cover: Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker.

Both Bar and Brooklyn have appeared in the swimsuit issue for the past few years and both have received mainstream attention recently due to their relationships with Leonardo DiCaprio and tennis star Andy Roddick, respectively. Word is Leo is really pulling hard for Rafaeli to land on the cover because it would "really piss off" his ex-girlfriend Gisele Bundchen.

It's pretty much win-win regardless of who ends up on the cover because they're both ridiculously hot, but who do you think Sports Illustrated should choose? I've supplied some photos for closer examination so you can make an informed decision. It's because I care.

While continuing to promote his film Body of Lies, Leonardo DiCaprio said during an interview that when he was younger he was a "slow starter" with women:

The 'Titanic' star - who has dated a string of beautiful women, including supermodels Helena Christensen, Gisele Budchen and Bar Refaeli - claims he was never very successful with girls when he was young as he found it hard to relate to them.

He said: "I've always been a slow starter. My first date was with a girl called Cessi.

We had a beautiful relationship over the phone all summer and then when we met I couldn't look her in the eye."

I like Leo, I really do, but he should do all of us a huge favor and just shut his pie-hole when it comes to troubles with women. Yeah, I'm sure as a good-looking famous young actor he could totally relate to the frustrations of some Star Trek geek. It's comforting to know he was able to overcome such adversity by plowing through a line of supermodels including Helena Christensen, Gisele Budchen and more recently Bar Refaeli.

Mentioning Bar Refaeli, and merely to emphasize my point, here she is looking about as good in a bikini as humanly possible. That's right, poor Leo has sure got it rough.
