Actor Terrence Howard didn't get picked for the Iron Man 2 kick-ball team and now he's running home to mommy and throwing a tantrum. Well, not exactly, but you get the idea.

"Marvel made a choice, and it was a very, very bad choice," the actor -- whose role was given to Don Cheadle -- tells Parade.com. "They didn't keep their word. They didn't honor my contract."

Howard says producers didn't share the profits of the flick -- which earned over $318 million -- with most of the actors.

"They produced a great bounty with the first one, but they put it all in the storehouse and you were not allowed in," he says. "They did the same thing with Gwyneth Paltrow , from what I've been told.

The only person who got a raise?

"They did it with everyone but Robert Downey [Jr]," fumes Howard. "One of the things that actors need to do is always stick together: one for all, and all for one."

Putting aside the fact that immediately after throwing Robert Downey Jr. under the bus Howard talks about how actors should stick together, there's one important detail in all of this he seems to have forgotten: he was absolutely dreadful in that movie. I'm not saying he's a bad actor (his performance in Hustle & Flow was excellent), but in Iron Man he was completely wooden and so boring that rumor has it they had to cut out a lot of his scenes.

I understand why an actor might be annoyed if a movie made a ton of dough and he barely got paid for his contribution; it's really a shame actors don't have someone who could negotiate contracts on their behalf before they agree to do a movie. That way there would be no one else to bitch at. What a brilliant idea, right? I don't know where I come up with this stuff.

Poor, poor Gwyneth Paltrow. She has to leave her London home for a few months and come to Los Angeles to get paid millions of dollars to film the sequel to Iron Man. It was either that or start slinging crack on the corners, I guess. No seriously, she's actually complaining about how difficult this all is while being a mother.

Gwyneth said: “That’s hard, and I feel – I’m feeling mother guilt because my daughter’s looking forward to going, but my son always says, ‘I don’t want to leave my London house’ - and I feel pretty guilty about that.

"I just try to say, ‘Well, but we’re going to swim and it’ll be sunny.’ I try to point out the positives.”

Asked whether fame and parenthood works well together, Gwyneth said: “I barely ever do films – I’m with them almost all the time.

"But in a way it makes the transition harder. I feel like if I worked all the time, then they would be used to it.

"But when I’m always there, and I’m always doing school runs and I’m always around – and then I just disappear for 14 hours a day to film – it’s hard.” (The Sun)

Considering the economy is in the toilet and thousands of people are losing their jobs and homes, Gwyneth might consider having a bit more tact when complaining about how rough things are for her as a mother. There are a lot of mothers out there who were forced to go right back to their full-time jobs a few weeks after giving birth because they can't afford to stay home and boss around the nanny all day. But Gwyneth can totally relate.

Proving that you can only have so many children with ridiculous names without consequences, word is Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay front-man Chris Martin are taking a break from their marriage. Page Six reports:

On Wednesday night, [Alex] Rodriguez was front and center at Madonna's concert at Dolphin Stadium ... Later, the kabbalah cronies celebrated at the estate of Jeff Soffer, the bachelor billionaire who reportedly has come between Gwyneth Paltrow and rocker hubby Chris Martin.

Feeding speculation that Paltrow and Martin are ready to split, Paltrow has been staying at Soffer's Indian Creek Island mansion and spent Thanksgiving with him, sources said.

Martin's band, Coldplay, wrapped its U.S. tour Wednesday night and friends expected Paltrow, who'd been at their London home with their children earlier this week, would remain there to welcome Martin back after weeks on the road.

Instead, sources said, she returned to Miami, where she and Soffer sparked gossip two weeks ago when she showed up at at the opening of his Fontainebleau Hotel.

"Gwyneth has confided to friends she and Chris are taking a break," a source claimed. "Jeff is crazy about her."

I think it's pretty obvious what's happening here. Madonna got divorced, so being the narcissistic bitch that she is, decided it would be more fun if her gal-pal Gwyneth was single too. She's probably been doing everything she can to split them up, like throwing dinner parties with A-rod and telling Gwyneth she's not invited because she's still married to that British guy.

Anyway, here's Paltrow looking adulterous at the aforementioned grand opening of The Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.

Gwyneth Paltrow showed up to the premiere for her latest film, Two Lovers, and helped to get a little extra publicity with a stylish see-through dress. Not sure if it's only see-through when hit with a flash bulb the way a lot of black materials are, but next time she may want to match it with some black underwear, or perhaps the white was intentional. Either way, I like how she thinks.
