There was a time when Alec Baldwin was a good looking man - that time is not now. Previously, he was all muscles and strong chins. Now he has a body made of melting Playdough. This is why his interest in doing a 300 type movie is, in fact, making me vomit everywhere.

Alec Baldwin is thinking about giving Gerard Butler a run for his Spartan warrior money.

"I want to do a '300' movie," he told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush at the premiere of his latest film, "It's Complicated," in which he bares all - several times! "I want to shoot the HGH injections and be hiking up the hill, do the whole '300' thing."

The "30 Rock" star added he wanted to bulk up to showcase a different side of himself than fans will see in "It's Complicated."

"I really think I do want to do one movie to correct the image of this movie," he joked.

Though Alec said he did make one change for the film - spray-tanning.

"Wasn't I a little orange?" he asked Billy. "You know I'm not a spray tan guy. The character is a spray tan guy. He knew he was taking his clothes off for his woman, and he thought, 'Why don't I spray tan?'"

Didn't Alec just say he was quitting acting. Can we go back to that outrageous statement? Oh please, let's go back to that one...quickly.

Alec Baldwin said he will quit acting as soon as his TV contract is up, even though he's getting the best reviews of his life. Also, he said that all his movies have been complete failures. Also, he looked a gift horse in the mouth and then roundhouse kicked it to the face.

The Emmy-winning star of 30 Rock says that he plans to quit acting when his contract for the NBC show expires in 2012.

Says Baldwin in the December issue of Men's Journal: "I don't have any interest in acting anymore." At 51, he points out, "I'm not young, but I have time to do something else."

And while the actor has gotten the best reviews of his career playing Republican, bottom-line-obsessed Jack Donaghy on the hit comedy, he harshly dismisses all of his work on the big screen:

"I consider my entire movie career a complete failure," declares the star of The Hunt for Red October and Glengarry Glen Ross.

Huh? "The goal of moviemaking," he explains, "is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that."

And, yes, Baldwin still regrets the infamous, leaked voicemail in which he called daughter Ireland a "rude, thoughtless little pig." "I feel the consequences of that every day," he tells the magazine.

Baldwin's protracted custody fight with ex-wife Kim Basinger has affected his love life, too, leading to the recent dissolution of a seven-year relationship with another woman. Yet he claims that he doesn't mind. "I'd rather be lonely than wrong," he says.

I can see Alec Baldwin in the future, hunched down in a hidden castle in the mountains, all by himself, counting his money and talking to the gargoyles on the wall. He'll say, "Did you see me in Fun with Dick and Jane? That was a terrible movie." The gargoyles would then agree before jumping down and savagely eating him alive. Fun fact, the castle wasn't always evil and haunted, but, you know, Alec Baldwin seems to brings out the worst in places.
