Johnny Depp is an artist. This means he does weird movies and people love him for it. It's true, I know I do. So after all the messed up stuff you've seen him do, ask yourself, "What is Johnny Depp's dream role?" Don't think too hard about it, though, he's already answered:
Johnny recently told Britain's The Mirror, "My dream role would be to play musical legend Carol Channing in a biopic of her life. I love her, I really do. She's amazing. With all the digital technology available these days I could probably pull it off."Now here's the really wierd thing. Carol is actually OK with it.
"It is not a new concept to me," Carol told Broadway World. "Not at all. Men have been imitating me for as long as I can remember. In fact, most of the impersonations I have seen have had a five-o'clock shadow. I imagine, when or if Johnny should portray me, he will succeed."So do I, actually, but then again I'd be cool with Johnny Depp playing anything. "We've got a script about a three-headed monster who takes a typing class. Give it to Johnny." - "I've got an idea about a man who learned to swim but never walk and falls in love with a seashell on the beach that's too far away for him to get to. Here Mr. Depp, for you." - "This is a project about a World War Two veteran who becomes a veterinarian... Nah, no good for Johhny Depp, it's much too normal. Give it to Adam Sandler, he sucks these days."
He sure does.
