Today is "stories that get weirder" day at Celebrity Milkshake, and we've got a doozy for you now. Remember yesterday when we talked about Jon Gosselin's apartment being broken into, ransacked and stabbed? Well, it was his ex, Haily Glassman, who did it - except she only took things that belonged to her and wrote the note but didn't stab it to anything. Also, she didn't mess anything up. But everything else was all her...which makes it ok... I guess.

The ransacking of Jon Gosselin's New York City apartment appears to be a publicity stunt, an attorney for his ex-girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, tells TVGuide.com.

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star returned to his apartment Dec. 26 to find it burglarized and vandalized, according to his attorney, Mark Jay Heller. Gosselin's clothing, sheets, luggage and furniture were slashed, and a note signed with Glassman's name was left attached to a dresser by a butcher knife, Heller said. Glassman wrote the note, but did not pin it to the dresser, Anand Ahuja told TVGuide.com.

"We're not denying the note was written, but she didn't stab it [on the dresser] or do anything else," he said. "Somebody's trying to frame her."

Ahuja said Gosselin had told Glassman to take whatever she wanted from the apartment because he was moving, but the 22-year-old only took items belonging to her.

Ahuja added in a statement: "To me, it appears to be a huge publicity stunt. It appears that somebody is trying to frame my client, Hailey Glassman, because she didn't take anything from that apartment that she was not entitled to take with her. I don't see any truth in what is circling around in the media against my client."

Authorities are investigating the break-in, and Heller said Gosselin, 32, plans to file felony charges.

That's the worst publicity stunt I've ever heard. I'd be like me setting fire to my own house in order to get on the news. Let me tell you something, it doesn't work. The media doesn't care and the police get so darn mad at you. Totally wasn't worth the effort.

Jon Gosselin's apartment was broken into last week while he was visiting his children for Christmas. Someone slashed his furniture, stole his TV and used a butcher knife to stick a note to his dresser. In other words, Kate came over.

The reality show star was "devastated" by the destruction he found when he returned Saturday from Pennsylvania, attorney Mark Jay Heller said in a statement.

Gosselin's clothes, bed and other furniture were cut up, and a family-heirloom vase was shattered, Heller said. His TV, other electronics and his dishes were taken by a "very troubled and sick perpetrator," Heller said.

He wouldn't disclose who signed the note or what it said, adding that police were examining it. Police declined to comment.

The burglary marks the latest real-life drama for the 32-year-old Gosselin, who was half of the couple who rose to fame as the prolific parents on TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" before splitting up this year.

Viewers watched their 10-year marriage disintegrate amid allegations that both had been unfaithful, which they denied. The breakup itself became an entertainment event, announced in an episode watched by more than 10 million people.

They initially planned to go on with the show, but it foundered on scandals, bickering and legal disputes. The last episode aired Nov. 23.

The couple officially divorced Dec. 18, with 34-year-old Kate Gosselin keeping the family home in eastern Pennsylvania and continuing as the primary caretaker of their 9-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets.

Former home wrecking slutty party girl Hailey Glassman twittered her New Years resolution: To be rid of ex-boyfriend Jon Gosselin once and for all. I would have gone with learning how to spell and type correctly, but idiots do always start big.

"My New years resolution is to finally stand up for myself, not let myself be controled+manipulated by Jon," Glassman wrote Tuesday, "I wish for him out of my life."

Glassman has said in the past that she was "emotionally abused" by Gosselin during their relationship and that he had "mantrums."

As recently as Dec. 8, Glassman told RadarOnline.com that she was furious to learn of Gosselin's fling with Star magazine reporter Kate Major. "I'm mind boggled and hurt by it," she said. "And he still lies to me about it and denies it to this day."

Onward and upward for Glassman: she also notes that she's moving out of the Manhattan apartment that she shared (awkward!) with Gosselin -- and she wants to slim down.

Just in case you thought the Jon/Kate saga couldn't get any more depressing, now father-of-the-year Gosselin has been forbidden from bringing a gun onto the family home. Yes, this means he owns a gun, has used the gun and there is a fear he may use the gun again - specifically in a target practice kind of way, where his former wife stands in as a target.

In another reality check, for the one-time Reality TV dad, Jon was ordered not to bring any firearm onto the marital property. A Montgomery County, PA judge entered that order today as Jon showed up in court to square off against a former lawyer who is suing him for non-payment. (RadarOnline)

Jon Gosselin took another punch to the groin yesterday, this one from the legal system. Not only did TLC win in it's suit against Gosselin, they also took time out to insult him on record in the courthouse. This is why TLC makes great television.

Although Jon Gosselin wasn't present at a Maryland court Thursday, TLC, the network he's battling, was on hand to harshly criticize the one-time reality TV star. Representatives from TLC testified that the reality dad's recent behavior has been "embarrassing." Also revealed in court: by the end of Jon and Kate Plus Eight's run, TLC was paying the family $22,500 an episode, not the $75,000 per episode rate Gosselin has been telling the media.

The 32 year-old Gosselin's appearances at cheesy promotional events (like an August pool party in Las Vegas) "made the show look bad," TLC attorney Paul Gaffney says, according to Radaronline.

"Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show," added Edward Sabin, TLC's Chief Operating Officer.

Sabin offered other examples of bad behavior: Gosselin's habit of signing autographs outside the family's Pennsylvania home; his lavish, photo-op filled trip to the south of France with then-girlfriend Hailey Glassman; talk of a "Hollywood Rebel" clothing line and another potential show, Divorced Dads Club, with Michael Lohan.

Sabin futilely reached out to Gosselin's manager. "It was a bit disconcerting, so we cried, 'Foul! Guys, foul!' -- you gotta get your guy in line."

When the frustrated network attempted to rename the show Kate Plus Eight to focus solely on wife Kate's struggles "as a single mother," Gosselin's legal team retaliated and successfully shut down production. "If the father of the children states an objection of the kids being filmed, we're gonna honor that," Sabin explained.

What moved TLC to finally sue Gosselin? "A series of last straws," Sabin said. "Notably taking money from entertainment programs where folks sit around and gossip about celebrities lives." Gosselin also violated confidentiality agreements when he chatted on air about his compensation for Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

TLC won its preliminary injunction against the reality dad. A judge ruled that Gosselin must obey the court's order to comply with contractual obligations or risk going to jail.

This sets the stage for future battles to come, TLC notes. "We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches." (Us Magazine)

I look forward to them taking every penny Mr. Gosselin has left. Then, when I walk through the streets and see him begging on the sidewalk, I'll happily tell him to, "Get a job!" ... First, I'll have to explain to him what "a job" actually is, but after that, it's going to really sting.

Celebrity feuds are hilarious - but what happens when neither of the people is a celebrity? I mean, not really...

Once upon a time, Michael Lohan and Jon Gosselin were becoming fast friends, and there was even talk of the two pairing up for a new reality show about divorced dads. But how quickly things can change.

In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Michael spoke about his friend-turned-foe after he was subpoenaed by TLC to testify in the network's breach of contract suit against Jon.

According to Michael, he had reached a business agreement with Jon, which TLC claims may have violated their exclusivity pact with the "Plus 8" dad.

"I kept him out of harm's way when there were paparazzi around... and he stabbed me in the back," Michael told Access. "When you open your door to somebody and you give them a safe haven and a place to go and then they turn around and bite the hand that feeds or stab you in the back, that doesn't sit well with me."

"Like, say you have a daughter," Logan continued, "and you're a terrible parent to her. I mean the worst. And one day she becomes rich and famous and then, when you come to her for money, she slams the door in your face. That doesn't sit well with me either. No sir."

As of Saturday, Jon Gosselin has no kids. No, he didn't put them in the sack and throw them in the river, he just gave full control to Kate. Can you believe it? I was sure it was going to be the river thing. That's what I did with my ki...er...ttens.

Jon Gosselin has ceded primary custody of his eight children to estranged wife Kate, according to People.

As previously reported by AccessHollywood.com, the former couple met on Saturday for a divorce arbitration session in Pennsylvania.

A source close to Kate told People that the meeting was productive.

"This was the proceeding that essentially ended their marriage," the source told the mag. "Kate is just relieved that a very painful chapter of her life is nearly over, and she is looking forward to building a better, brighter future for herself and her kids."

According to the source, that future will include undisputed primary custody of the couple's brood.

"[Jon] didn't dispute Kate having primary custody of the kids," the source said, adding that his decision was not a surprise - and apparently, neither was the bouquet of roses that he brought to the table.

Kate reportedly turned them down.

"In what should have been their most serious moment as a couple, Jon again resorted to a publicity stunt," the source said.
