Chris Brown doesn't think he'll have a hard time finding a chick again due to his "celebrity status." So, all you girls who just love getting punched in the face, it's your time to shine.
"My whole dating thing, I've been kinda chillin'. I mean, I'm Chris Brown. I'm not saying it like that, but it's just, like, girls, I mean, are gonna be around," Chris said in a new interview with MTV News. "I love women. But I would say definitely I've just been chillin'."
The singer, who debuted his new music video for the single "Crawl" on Friday, has been taking public steps to get his career back on track, including announcing his first tour since the assault, which kicked off on Saturday in Houston, as well as his upcoming album "Graffiti," due out on December 15.
And while Brown claims the women are "gonna be around" when he's ready for a new relationship, for now, he said he's focused on himself.
"I haven't really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody," he told MTV News. "I've just kinda been working on me. Like I said, just really getting me straight."
That's true. Instead of looking for girls, Chris Brown has been hitting the gym, working on his right hook. Then, when he finally goes back to the dating scene, he'll be ready. Next time, that girl's gonna stay quiet.

Who says celebrity abuse has to be a public thing? Not Chris Brown, that's for sure. He thinks Rihanna should have done the right thing and kept her mouth shut after he smacked it.
Chris Brown has something to say about ex-girlfriend Rihanna's revealing interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, in which the singer spoke frankly about the Feb. 8 incident in which he assaulted her.
"While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8," Brown says in a statement to MTV News, "I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us."
In the Diane Sawyer interview, Rihanna said that Brown, 20, put her in a headlock twice and bit her on the ear and fingers. "He had no soul in his eyes," Rihanna, 21, told Sawyer. "He was clearly blacked out."
And the singer -- whose new album Rated R drops later this month -- explained why she is speaking so publicly. "I knew I had to do this in order to move on for me and in order for my fans to move on . . . I don't want that five years from now every time they see Rihanna, they think of Chris Brown beating me. That's not who I am."
She also wishes her ex well in the interview.
In his statement today, Brown continued, "I do appreciate [Rihanna's] support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions . . . Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."
Well of course Chris is leaving it to God. I mean, have you read The Bible? It's all, "Women did this evil thing" or, "Women are that type of whore." If God had his way, he would have smacked the whole lot of them. Now, Chris Brown isn't comparing himself to Jesus, per say, but they both do wear sandals ...so, if you want to make that leap yourself, go right ahead.

Holy hell! I was sure that when Chris Brown was given six months of community labor, he'd be doing swanky charity concerts up and down the coast. Turns out, he's actually cleaning up trash with his hands. Ah, how the mighty have fallen...at least for the next six months, then he goes back to being super-mighty once more.
Chris Brown cleared weeds and debris at police horse stables in Virginia on Wednesday for the first day of his 180-day court-ordered community service for beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The 20-year-old R&B singer worked along with two others who were serving probation, clearing tall weeds and brush by hand and with yard tools. Additional officers were on hand, but only a few fans and television crews gathered nearby.
Dressed in an orange vest, white tank top, baggy jeans and red baseball cap, Brown did not speak to the media but he waved to fans who saw him working.
Brown's schedule, including work hours and days, will be flexible, and he will be performing different types of manual labor, Richmond Police spokesman Gene Lepley said. Police will not reveal when or where Brown will be working in hopes of avoiding security and logistical problems, he said.
"We'll just take a look at it day by day and certainly would ask for the cooperation of the public and Chris' fans so that he is able to satisfy the work requirements," Lepley said.
Wow, so he's really getting his hands dirty. Good for the police department. Maybe this will make him rethink smackedity smack smack smacking around Rihanna the next time...unless she's really uppity, then it's a different story.

Larry King put out promos yesterday for a Wednesday interview with Chris Brown, where the singer is dressed up as a penis (seriously dude, what's with the bow-tie?) In one of them, Chris states he doesn't remember smack smack smacking Rihanna. Of course that's not what he meant, the singer later said in a statement. Larry tricked him by asking the question over and over. Yep, because, as everyone knows, the more times you get asked a question, the harder it is to remember the correct answer. That makes perfect sense, right?
On Monday, CNN released clips, which show the "Larry King Live" host asking Brown, "Do you remember doing it?" referring to the beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna in the early hours of February 8. Brown is heard in the clip replying, "No."
But in a statement issued to People on Monday, the singer said during the interview with King, which was attended by his attorney, Mark Geragos, and his mother, Joyce Hawkins, "That question was asked something like four or five times."
"When you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said," Brown said in his statement to the mag regarding his "no" answer.
"The first four times - or how ever many times it was - I gave the same answer - which was that I didn't think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn't fair to Rihanna. The fifth time - or whatever it was - I just misspoke. I was asked, 'Do you remember doing it?' and I said, 'No,'" Brown's statement continued.
Brown added that he does indeed remember the incident that sent Rihanna to the hospital; however, he also referred to it as "a blur."
"Of course, I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur," his statement continued. "And yes, I still can't believe it happened because it is not me or who I am." (Access Hollywood)
I'm going to have to agree with Chris here, I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to forget something like smacking around Rihanna. Also, why was Larry King asking this ridiculous question in the first place, especially multiple times? "Do you regret it?" or "Do you know why you did it?," would have been fine, but "Do you remember it?" is ridiculousness. Maybe 75-year-old Larry kept asking because he couldn't remember the event. In fact, their full conversation may have gone something like this:
Larry: So Chris, it's good for you to be here. Tell me about that night.
Chris: Thanks Larry. Well...
Larry: Hold up, refresh my memory. What happened that night?
Chris: Larry, that night was...
Larry: Which night?
Chris: The night of the incident.
Larry: What incident.
Chris: The one with Rihanna.
Larry: Who?
Chris: Rihanna.
Larry: That's great. We're going to go to commercials now, but when we come back, we're going to bring out singer Chris Brown who will talk to us about rice cakes, I think.

Chris Brown was sentenced yesterday for smack smack smacking around his former girlfriend Rihanna. He got five years' probation, six months' community labor and was ordered to stay away from the girl for the next five years - that's probably a good thing since apparently this isn't the first time he played connect the dots using his fists and Rihanna's face instead of any kind of dots.
According to a probation officer's report filed with the court for Brown's sentencing, the incidents "related to domestic violence."
The first incident allegedly occurred in Europe three months earlier when Brown and Rihanna were in a "verbal dispute." She slapped him, and Brown responded by shoving her into a wall, the report stated.
Just three weeks before his February arrest for beating and threatening his ex-girlfriend after the Grammy Awards, the former couple was in Rihanna's native Barbados. While driving, they had an argument. According to the report, Brown got out and broke both the driver's and front passenger side windows. No one was injured, and the incident was not reported to authorities. (AP)
Holy crap, I hope that community labor happens in the most relaxing place ever. Otherwise, he'll be doing something like picking up garbage on the side of the road, accidentally stub his toe and pull out his 9mm and begin shooting at every car on the freeway. Don't worry, he'll later make up for it by apologizing in a Youtube video.

When I was little, I used to punch my brothers all the time. *WHAM!* Then, when I'd get caught, I'd look my mom straight in the eyes and say, "Sorry" - even though I didn't mean any of it. What else was I going to do? I was caught, I was guilty and I didn't want to get into more trouble, so I pussed out. I'm thinking Chris Brown is in a similar situation as he apologized here for smacking around Rihanna.
R&B singer Chris Brown issued his first full public apology on Monday for assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna, describing his loss of control as "unacceptable, 100 percent" and asking for forgiveness from his fans.
Brown, 20, said in a two-minute video statement that he had wanted to speak out earlier but had been advised against it by his lawyers.
The singer of hits "Run It" and "Kiss Kiss" pleaded guilty last month to punching Rihanna in Los Angeles on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February. He is expected to be sentenced to five years' probation in August.
"I have told Rihanna countless times and I am telling you today that I am truly, truly sorry that I wasn't able to handle the situation differently and better," Brown said in the video statement. (AP)
"'Sorry' my ass," Chris Brown said as soon as he turned the camera off. "Sorry that girl opened her mouth to the police is more like it." Then he grabbed the nearest ho in his posse and backhanded her for a good hour, all the while fantasizing it was Rihina. Ah, to be young and in love again.

*Smack Smack Smack* Hear that noise? That's justice being served. Chris Brown plead guilty yesterday to backhanding the hell out off Rihanna and was given a laughably low sentence.
As part of the plea bargain, the singer will receive five years probation and spend 180 days doing community labor in Virginia. Brown will also move home to Virginia, his lawyer, Mark Geragos, announced in court, but will return to California once every three months for updates. During his probation, he must also obey a protective order, which means he cannot harm or harrass Rihanna, and a stay-away order, which requires him to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna at all times.
Brown said he was sorry though, so that's good for something, right?
"This is a kid who has never been in trouble before, who wants to move past this," his attorney said. "He has accepted responsibility and will continue to do so. He embraces this as an opportunity to get his life back on track and his career back on track." (Us Magazine)
Brown's going to be formally sentenced on Aug. 5, but this is it. Basically for beating up his girlfriend, Brown will sing at Virginia charity concerts for the next half-a-year. Our justice system is so out of whack when it comes to the famous. Seriously, I kicked a fire hydrant once and had to serve 12 years in the pen for "damaging government property." It's kind of better that Brown's not going to jail though, that places changes people. Look at me, I used to be a brown German Shepard named Daisy. Man, I've never been the same since.
