Yesterday we showed eye-burning photos of Amy Adams in a bikini (if you missed it, be warned, they are not at all awesome as they sound). On that post, I said Amy was basically the polar opposite of Hollywood hottie Isla Fischer - today, I am proven right. Isla walked around in an ever-rising miniskirt and cleavage that fills the screen. I don't even care that she was trying to be cool by putting on her sunglasses one handed, and actually comes off as a deranged idiot - it only makes her cuter. I'm basically ok with her doing anything right now... as long as it's not putting on a bikini and somehow morphing into Amy Adams. I think I had a nightmare about that exact thing last night. Luckily I just made out with Isla Fischer and went back to bed. No, that second part was not a dream, idiot... it was a super-awesome fantasy.

I've seen Amy Adams in a few films, and she always comes off as the sweet, innocent, semi-cute girl who would never ever get drunk and bang a dude in the back of a Ford Escalade. She's the polar opposite of say, Isla Fischer on the Hollywood redhead scale. Now that these candids have come out though, it's painfully obvious why. Oh dear god is it ever. Amy Adams needs to put on some clothes, smile sweetly and pray that no one ever asks her to do a nude scene...ever. There are maybe a few things that could kill her career faster, but I can't think of any of them right now. Seriously, Amy - Shirt. You. Wear one. Now. Forever. I'm begging you.

Actress Amy Adams was interviewed by BlackBook Magazine recently and apparently she's sick and tired of her squeaky clean good girl image and insists it couldn't be further from the truth.

When asked about the Care Bears nature of her press, Adams says, “These are the kind of things I hate when I read them. I am so just like anyone else. It is interesting to be perceived as innocent. Innocent of what? I’m certainly not naïve.” She is less exasperated than she is eager to assert her normalcy. “I misbehave. I just do it in private.”

“The sweet girl in Junebug is not who Amy really is,” says co-star Embeth Davidtz. “Amy’s much naughtier than anyone I know. I can’t give you examples because they are so beyond X-rated. She’s got the wickedest sense of humor and says what nobody else would think to say.”

Well Amy Adams, I'm just not sure I believe you. This photo shoot where you finally show a little skin is a nice start, but if you really want to show us how naughty you are, take off your top in your next movie. Until then, we'll remain unconvinced.

In an interview with Allure Magazine for their February 2009 issue, actress Isla Fisher says she is often mistaken for other Hollywood redheads. So naturally my initial response was that she must get mistaken for Amy Adams all the time, since Adams is currently appearing in about half the movies playing in theaters, not to mention that the two look like sisters. But it turns out she's often mistaken for another actress as well:

Fisher told our crew that she's constantly being mistaken for other Hollywood redheads, like Debra Messing. "But I take it as a compliment," she said. She didn't bat an eye when Cavaco joked, "Deb, time to go on set!"

Are people out of their freakin' minds!? Debra Messing? The people she runs into must be smoking crystal meth. I don't know how to put this delicately so I'm just going to come out and say it: Debra Messing has a horse face, while Isla Fisher has delicate features and is classically beautiful. When Fisher says she takes it as a compliment, there's no way in hell she's serious.
