It's been a little while since we've seen Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly, but here she is on the set of her latest movie, The Roommate. I have no idea what this film is about or if they're even filming an actual scene in these photos, but whoever picked out that tank-top needs to win an award.

It's no secret that we're big fans of Minka Kelly around here, so when she shows up to some random event looking great it's given that we're going to post the pictures. Why the hell is she not a bigger star? While Minka seems plenty busy between starring on Friday Night Lights, staying in shape by working out at the gym, and banging Derek Jeter (still trying to erase this from my memory), this girl should be landing some better roles. Sure, she may not be the greatest actress, but that hasn't held back Megan Fox one bit.

Minka Kelly is obviously not a teenager even though she plays one on Friday Night Lights, but most people are surprised when they discover she's actually in her late twenties (she'll turn 29 in June). So what's her secret to staying so young? Working out would be one obvious answer, and you can tell from these recent photos at a gym in Hollywood that she's fairly hardcore about it and doesn't just sit on the exercise bike and watch TV.

A lot of Hollywood actresses stay thin simply by not eating very much and smoking, but that only works with younger skin that can take the abuse. Once 30 rolls around, most of these women look like they're already halfway to 40 (that means you, Tara Reid). So let this be a lesson to any high school or college-aged girls who may be reading this: if you want to have a tight booty like Minka Kelly when you're her age, hit the gym.

For those of us who don't have DirecTV and are fans of Friday Night Lights, don't forget that season 3 of the high school drama begins its run on NBC tonight. Sadly, one of the best shows on television was nearly canceled when the second season was interrupted by the writer's strike last year (due to low ratings), and while I'm thankful that the folks at DirecTV appreciated the show enough to step in and save the day, having to spend the last few months dodging spoilers has been a difficult task.

Personally, I'm a huge sports fan, but I find that most sports movies and TV shows are horrible, so when Friday Night Lights first came on I didn't even give it a chance. However, it won me over once I heard good things and finally gave it a try by watching the first season on DVD.

If football isn't necessarily your cup of tea that doesn't necessarily mean you won't enjoy it, as it's as much of a family drama as it is about high school football in Texas. Plus, the lead female characters are smoking hot so you should give it a chance for them alone. I've provided some visual enticement to sweeten the deal.
