Remember when I just said that being on MTV kills your career, yeah, I meant it. Here we have more promotional "candid" photos of Kristin Cavallari filming a scene for The Hills. Now, I've never seen an episode, but if I had to figure out the show's plot from all these pictures, I'd say it's about chicks in bikinis smiling on the beach. Unfortunately, I've heard that's not the case, and these girls actually leave the ocean and open their mouths to speak during episodes. See MTV, you take an award-winning concept and ruin it with junk, just like you do with all your programs. The one who really suffers from this, though, is poor Kristin. She might have had a promising career once, but now, nothing.

Several years ago, Kristin Cavallari starred in the MTV "reality" show Laguna Beach. She then went on to do... well, not a whole lot, but she's still very good looking so we still remember who she is. Apparently realizing that she has no other discerable talents, she's set to replace Lauren Conrad as the main character on The Hills, which you may remember was a reality spin-off of Laguna Beach in the first place. Whatever, who cares, what matters is Kristin was photographed in the Caribbean recently wearing a tiny blue bikini and showing off her killer body.

Why is it that my Star Trek movies left me dateless in my mother's basement throughout high school, but J.J. Abrams's Star Trek movie brought together the world's hottest women? The premier not only gave a chance for gorgeous girls to wear tight clothes and get their picture taken, but they also geeked out, making the Vulcan hand salute. Someone explain to me, then, why the only breasts I got close to from Star Trek were my friend Larry's pair. The man weighed 300 pounds! Something is very, very wrong here!

Kristin Cavallari hung out in Miami Beach over the holidays sporting a blue bikini and her nice tan body, so of course she got exactly what she wanted for Christmas in the form of paparazzi following her around with cameras. As we've said before, we don't care that she's not entirely relevant as long as she looks good.

I made a comment last week that her job now consisted of showing up to various events and looking good for the paparazzi, which is partly true, but to be fair I should probably mention that Ms. Cavallari has a couple of movies coming out in 2009, including potential Academy Award winner Van Wilder 3 and also a teen flick called Wild Cherry.

Kristin Cavallari showed up for the Los Angeles premiere for Max Payne, a.k.a. Marky Mark Wahlberg's latest action flick that is probably going to suck when I see it next year on DVD. You may remember Kristin from the MTV reality show Laguna Beach. That was a couple of years ago now and she really hasn't done anything worthwhile since then nor is it likely she will in the foreseeable future, but damn she still looks good.
