Jenifer Aniston has been whining about wanting a baby for years, but hasn't found the right guy to knock her up. Now she's copying nemesis Angelina Jolie and adopting.

"She doesn't want to wait," a friend told Star Magazine. "Her best friends all have kids, and Jen sees how much motherhood changed their lives for the best. She's dying to have that!"

Star says Jen has already started the paperwork with an agency in California and is planning a $250,000 nursery for her home in Beverly Hills. Unlike the hip thing to do, Jen is not going to adopt a child from a poor third-world country; she wants a boy from the good old US-of-A.

Poor Jen. She's wanted her own child for so long but it's never happened. Now she's turned 40 and still has no kid while former flame Brad Pitt has a litter of like 23. I'm sure this baby is going to make her happy, but every time I see her carrying it, I'm just going to think of her miserably failed love life. Also, I'm going to laugh hysterically the first time that child asks why he has no father and Jen breaks down crying. It won't be my proudest moment, but I can live with that.
