R&B singer Cassie shaved half her head over the weekend. Why? Because she wanted to:

"Sometimes in life, you need a change. Something that displays the 'I dont give a f---' attitude that was always present, but never showcased. Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of. And something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR," she said on her Twitter page.

Puff Daddy's ex decided to elaborate, anticipating her public's reaction.

"Yeah, I did it. They ask why?? LOL B/C I WOKE UP AND FELT LIKE IT!!!"

I have to admit, there are worse ways for a celebrity to get attention than shave their head, including: shaving another person's head, getting a tattoo on your head, eating your own head and going up to everyone you see and headbutting the hell out of them. But honestly, only one of those is more ridiculous than shaving half your head.
