Woody Harrelson got into a scuffle with some TMZ photographers last Wednesday outside of a New York airport, and his explanation for getting rough with them is as awesome as it is insane. Get this: he thought they were zombies.

"I wrapped a movie called 'Zombieland,' in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character," Harrelson said in a statement issued Friday by his publicist.

"With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie," he said. (CNN)

I love how he prefaced the zombie statement with "quite understandably," because really, who doesn't confuse the movies with real life on occasion? Like the other day, I walked up to Angelina Jolie and asked her if she'd like to be my sugar mama and she just started yelling some nonsense about how I wasn't her son and how it was all some conspiracy by the LAPD.
