A few years ago I figured by now Amanda Bynes would be a much bigger star than she is currently. In fact, she's really fallen off the radar since her television show came to an end. She's been in a few movies that weren't bombs, but weren't exactly hits, either.

She's a cute girl (and that's really the only thing required of actresses these days), so what's the deal? I'll tell you. She's too tall.

Everyone always makes jokes about how Hollywood leading men tend to be on the short side, but it's even more true than most people realize.

I was at a restaurant bar in Santa Monica last year when a well-known leading man (not Tom Cruise) came up and ordered a drink. When I turned with my drink to leave the bar, I damn near hit him in the face with my elbow. So the odds of this guy acting alongside Amanda Bynes - who is at least 6 feet tall - are next to nothing. She'd make him look like the midget he really is. Even if she were to be cast as as some guy's daughter, who wants their onscreen daughter to tower over them?
