Scarlett Johansson's agent must have had a sitdown with the actress and explained to her that she really needs to star in a movie that actually makes money for a change. Good news for fanboys, as Scarlett has officially signed on to play the character of Black Widow for the highly anticipated sequel to Iron Man.
Replacing Emily Blunt, who was pulled out of the role due to previous contract obligations (according to columnist Nikki Finke), Scarlett will be playing a sexy Russian spy alongside Mickey Rourke - the villain this time around. This will either turn out to be a great move for her or people will wonder why they didn't keep Blunt in the role, who seemed like a perfect fit. Oh well, as long as there's lots of cleavage - and I'm sure there will be - we're all winners.
