It turns out Rihanna is one of those annoying women who just doesn't understand that it's simply not acceptable for a guy to hit his significant other.

This is possibly more pathetic than your typical battered housewife who feels trapped. Rihanna is independently wealthy, wasn't even living with Brown, and obviously has a lot of support from friends and family. In other words, she has no excuse to be acting like such an idiot. If this turns out to be true, I'm not sure who's a worse role model between these two.
