For those of you who find Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt to be despicable, shameless publicity whores (meaning everyone other than some of their direct family members), Christmas has come early this year in the form of a bouncer. Turns out they weren't invited to the after-party following The Hills season finale event in New York. Page Six
reports:
After Whitney Port (who obviously has never traveled much) declared she loved the "fresh air" of Manhattan, and Lauren Conrad promised the series would be back for another season of semi- scripted reality, the whole crew headed to Butter. But when "Hills" villain Heidi Montag and her svengali, Spencer Pratt, arrived, "they were not allowed in," a source told us. "Heidi starting crying and making a scene at the rope and eventually gets let in. Butter didn't even want them there. They are such jokes." The duo spent less than an hour at the club and left.
I may have been fighting the flu for the past several days (hence the lack of consistent updates - sorry), but hearing a story like this makes me feel so much better. That's one thing I love about New York; while clubs in L.A. and Las Vegas and most other places will cater to nearly any celebrity has-been or reality TV schmuck, clubs and high-end bars in New York aim a little higher and are actually embarrassed by them. That's right Heidi and Spencer, some people prefer pride over publicity.
