Jennifer Lopez, who fell during a performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, talked to Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and radio's "The Billy Bush Show" about the mishap.She used that same excuse right after making Gigli - didn't stop me from punching her in the face. I'm going to do what I do too.While attempting to do a move that involved climbing on a few of the dancers' backs, J.Lo explained the fall and said, "The guys backs were a little bit sweaty."
Overall, Jennifer felt good about her performance and told Bill, "It's cool. We jumped right back up and didn't miss a step."
Jennifer, who was performing her brand new single "Louboutins" off of her upcoming album, "Love?," said that despite the fall, "It was a great performance and I feel really good about it.
"It was fun. We had a good time," Jennifer continued. "It was great to share the new single in that way."
When Billy asked if she saw Adam Lambert's controversial performance, Jennifer said she was actually backstage doing press so she missed it.
Billy explained the nature of the performance and Jennifer said, "Everybody has to be themselves. I am going to do what I do. He is going to do what he does. It is what it is. That is why it is art. Performers are all different." (Access Hollywood)
