For those who were sick of seeing Jon Gosselin's face everywhere...so, everyone... you're in luck. The father-of-the-year is no longer going to be on TLC's hit show Jon and Kate Plus Eight, which is now known only as Kate Plus Eight. The gel-haired douchebag swears he wasn't fired for his mega-partying, kid-neglecting, gel-haired douchebag ways. I'm having a hard time believing him.
Despite weeks of speculation that the network wanted to boot the father of eight, 32, from the series because of his club-hopping reputation, his rep told Usmagazine.com that he was not kicked off.Wait, so, Jon Gosselin doesn't have to be around his nagging-wife or his soul-draining eight children and gets to create his own show about being a partying douche? Man, did he come out ahead in the divorce."He was not fired," Mike Heller told Us on Tuesday.
The network also maintains he will continue to appear on the show, only less often. The newly renamed Kate Plus Eight -- which will take effect beginning Nov. 2 -- will continue to focus on the lives of the young Gosselin twins, 8, and 5-year-old sextuplets but with a deeper focus on Kate's role as a single mother.
A source told Us Gosselin is "still working out the details" for his next projects. In the meantime, he has been shopping around his own reality show called The Divorced Dads Club, costarring Michael Lohan, among others.
